07 Apr 7 TIPS TO SLEEP BETTER
It is essential to get a good night’s sleep to have the energy we need during the day. Sometimes we give little importance to sleep and this can lead to health problems. A good night’s physical and mental rest will get us ready for the day’s activities.
1. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF NATURAL LIGHT
Get up and let the first rays of the sun into your home. Open the window and breathe the fresh air generated by the early hours of the day. Natural light keeps us alert and will give us the energy we need for a productive day
2. LIGHT DINNER
A big dinner can deprive us of sleep. Watch what you eat at night, avoid alcohol and stay away from coffee.
3. EXERCISE IS KEY
Exercise during the day to relieve symptoms of stress and balance your state of mind. Endorphins are the great allies of a good night’s rest.
4. CREATE YOUR OWN ROUTINE
Try some gentle yoga, meditation, read a good book or give yourself a face massage. It will help you go to bed relaxed and improve your night’s rest.
5. BLOCK 7 HOURS
Everyone is different. Even so, find out how many hours of sleep you need to get a good night’s rest. Stick to them, and you’ll see your health improve!
6. STAY AWAY FROM SCREENS
Screens are the No. 1 enemy of sleep. The LED light of the computers, tablets, televisions and mobile phones activate the pineal gland and the secretion of melatonin, altering the sleep cycle. Disconnect from the digital world 2 hours before going to sleep and give your brain a break.
7. CREATE YOUR OWN SANCTUARY
The bedroom is one of the most important spaces in the home. It’s your place of rest to regain strength and energy. Create a unique environment with a good bed to be comfortable and safe.
